SOPRAL is a family business working in three specialised areas of animal nutrition:

Dog food and cat food under the FLATAZOR brand name
Horse feed under the DYNAVENA brand name
Intermediate food products

The annual growth rate of these markets is somewhere between 10 and 15 %.

SOPRAL today achieves a turnover of 17 million Euros and employs 85 people.

SOPRAL owns 2 separate specialised plants in Pléchâtel (30 km to the South of Rennes [35]) to serve the whole of its marketing territory: one high performance petfood plant, and a unique and ultramodern horse feed plant. SOPRAL is thereby able to guarantee the irreproachable homogeneity and quality of its products everywhere.

SOPRAL is resolutely open to the international market and 25% of its overall sales come from exports. It is present in more than 30 countries (Europe, Middle East, French overseas territories and departments etc.) and has a marketing subsidiary in Spain.

SOPRAL’s "petfood" activity has been developing on the European market for more than 30 years; not only does it enjoy the benefit of top-quality expertise but it is also firmly anchored from a cultural and historical point of view in specialised distribution networks. For 30 years, FLATAZOR has maintained its presence on a market led by multinationals and has found its place with a range of pet foods that match consumer expectations. The company has a wealth of permanent scientific relations with veterinary schools, INRA (French Agricultural research body) and a host of public and private laboratories. These contacts enable us to develop a high level of quality and innovation, contributing substantially to our positioning at the top of the range end of the market.
