- Always introduce food changes (quantity, quality) gradually, preferably over a one week period.
- Leave clean drinking water freely available.
- Control the amounts of food that you give.
- Give your pet foods that are adapted for the different physiological phases in his life.
- Adjust the amount of food given in line with changes in your pet's physical condition.
- Keep a close eye on your pet (appetite, drinking water, coat, excrement, behaviour etc).
- Never give dog food to cats; their dietary requirements are not the same.
- Dry pet foods must always be stored in a cool, dark, dry place.
- If your dog needs to eat more, you can give him at least 1 additional meal.
